Hours

Closed Sundays and Mondays. Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day. Open every other holiday on regular hours.

02Getting Here

Toronto, ON M6J 2Z6

The 63 Ossington stops at our corner. Two-minute walk south of Bloor.

Ossington Station on Line 2. Fifteen-minute walk south. Streetcar connects directly.

Green P parking on Argyle (one block south). Street parking on Argyle and Bruce. Avoid Ossington itself, it is permit-only most evenings.

Two bike racks at the door. The Bloor bike lane connects three blocks north.

Single step at the entrance, level inside. Restroom is at grade. Please call ahead if a ramp would help. We have one and we are happy to set it.

Look for the black timber facade and the brass "Forge" signpainting above the door.

03 · House Policies

Cancellations: Twenty-four hours notice on cancellations, please. Late cancels under twelve hours are charged at half the booking. Two no-shows close the booking account.
Tipping: Optional, never expected. The card reader prompts a screen with a no-tip option that does not require explanation.
Children: Children twelve and over book the standard cut. Under twelve, we recommend Smiths Barbershop on Dundas. They specialise.
Group bookings: Wedding party, stag, anniversary trip. Three chairs minimum, two-week lead time. We close the shop for groups of six or more.
Gift cards: Sold at the front desk in $50, $80, and $150 denominations. Physical cards only, never expire.
Payment: Cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, Amex. Apple Pay and Google Pay at the front desk. We do not split bills above three ways.

Tuesday through Saturday. The kettle is on at the back.
