What we collect
When you book a chair, we collect your name, phone number, and optionally email. We use this only to confirm bookings and to contact you if a barber is sick or the shop closes unexpectedly.
We do not run analytics that identify you personally. We do not share your booking information with anyone outside the shop.
Cookies
Our website does not set tracking cookies. The Google Maps embed on the Visit page may set cookies. If you would prefer not to load that map, the address is also published in plain text on the same page.
Payment information
Card payments are processed at the chair by our terminal provider. We do not see, store, or transmit card numbers. The receipt is printed and the data does not leave the terminal.
Photography
If we photograph a cut for our Instagram, we ask first. If you prefer not to be photographed, tell us at the consultation and that decision is final. We do not photograph minors.
Your rights
You can ask us to delete your booking history at any time. Email chair@forge-barber.ca with the request and we will action it within seven days.
You can also ask us what booking information we hold on you. Same email, same seven-day turnaround.
